Amwell Lodge once again proved that Freemasonry is as much about friendship and family as it is about ritual, with their second annual Family BBQ. Held under glorious blue skies, the event welcomed members, their families and friends for an afternoon of great food, laughter, and togetherness.
True to the well-known Masonic saying—“Family and work first, then Freemasonry”—Amwell Lodge places great value on ensuring family sits at the heart of its activities. This BBQ wasn’t just about burgers and banter; it was a reflection of the Lodge’s belief that Freemasonry thrives when our loved ones are included and celebrated.
Children played freely, the grill worked overtime, and members enjoyed the chance to connect outside of the Lodge room in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It was a perfect day of fun and fellowship, with smiles all round.
Looking ahead, Amwell Lodge has plenty more to offer. Quiz Nights and Social Evenings are already in the pipeline, with next year’s Family BBQ proudly marked in the diary for Sunday 12th July 2026—a date not to be missed!
